Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the practical implementation of JavaScript / HTML / Design / Web Development / Mobile
- Participate in the design, development, and release of the next generation of HTML5/Javascript browser and mobile-based applications
- Develop complex, standards based, full-stack enterprise applications, both for browser and mobile devices
- Maintain and enhance the current suite of trading applications we use here at Amelco UK
- Be familiar with an Agile delivery approach which means exposure to a collaborative working environment would be beneficial
- Be a self-starter with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
Requirements:
- Very good English skills
- 1+ year of professional front end experience
- Knowledge and first experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS 2/3 and ReactJS
- Experience working with Restful or SOAP based web services
- Experience with lifecycle management tools such as Jira and GIT
- Experience of building cross-platform apps with standards-based web technologies
- Commercial experience of scalable Javascript applications
- Understanding of software design principles and patterns – MVC/MVVM is highly desirable but not essential.
Desirable skills
Experience working with NODE, Backbone, AngularJS
Experience with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum/TDD)
