Our partnership with global gaming companies has resulted in the development of cutting-edge technical platforms incorporating sportsbook, lottery, casino, virtual and financial trading. We are in search of highly motivated Sports Traders who will be responsible for optimising the service level provided to Sportsbook partners by managing betting opportunities and odds.
JOB BRIEF
Reporting to the Head of Sportsbook and sitting within the wider Amelco Trading team, your role will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and analysing bets and content in real time across multiple sportsbooks globally.
Expertise of US Sports is beneficial but not essential to the role.
The role will be varied day-to-day and key responsibilities will be:
- Ensure the accuracy of sportsbook pricing and event management of competitions and sports.
- Ensure the accuracy of sportsbook content on partner sportsbooks websites.
- Execute day to day operational tasks to maximise trading efficiency.
- Generate ideas for trading improvements – working efficiency or product.
- Leverage your expertise in sports to price events & markets using our technology platform to make important trading decisions.
- Provide analysis and feedback using Power BI on the performance of sports and markets to improve content, pricing and GGR.
- Work strategically with other departments to enhance and improve the overall trading team performance.
- Provide accurate second line Customer Support to partner sportsbooks.
REQUIREMENTS
The role will be ideally suited to a person with a strong passion for the betting industry and sports.
- Min 2-year hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented.
- The ability to think critically and constantly challenge the status quo in order to drive continuous improvement.
- Strong analytic, conceptual and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience betting into markets and analysing sports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
The Sports Trader shifts involve weekend work and shift times are 07:00 to 15:15 and 15:00 to 23:15 respectively (UK Time). The office is based in the Warsaw city centre, at Piękna 49.
